Terms and Conditions
Effective date: October 13, 2026.
These terms apply to CivWit, operated by 3-Clicks Inc ("we," "us"). "Service" means the CivWit site or application. The Service provides an online workspace and account management tools.
1. Agreement and eligibility
By using the Service, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. If you act for a business or another person, you must have authority to do so.
2. Proper use
Use the Service lawfully and only for matters you are authorized to manage. Do not use it for harassment, fraud, unlawful collection, unwanted or unlawful messages, or interference with the Service or other users.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate account information and keep it current.
- Protect your credentials and access links.
- You are responsible for activity under your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
4. Your content
You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, and appropriateness of the information, documents, and messages you provide. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload, use, and share them.
5. Permission to process content
You give us permission to store, process, and display your content, and to use service providers, including AI providers, as needed to operate the Service and carry out your instructions. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.
6. AI and your decisions
AI output may be incorrect or incomplete. Review and verify drafts, summaries, calculations, and other output before using or sending them. You remain responsible for your decisions, communications, claims, and actions.
7. No professional or emergency services
The Service does not provide legal, financial, tax, medical, or therapeutic advice, court representation, mediation, or debt collection services. It is not an emergency or crisis service. Use qualified professionals or emergency services when needed.
8. Contacting others
You are responsible for choosing appropriate recipients, providing accurate contact details, and having any required consent or authority to contact them or share their information. Follow applicable communication, privacy, landlord-tenant, and collection laws.
9. Service communications
We may use your contact information for account notices, requested messages, support, and other service communications. You may request available opt-outs through support. Any consent required by law must be obtained separately.
10. Personal information
Only provide personal information you are authorized to use. We handle personal information under applicable law and any privacy notices that apply to the Service. These terms do not replace required privacy notices or consents.
11. Records and retention
Keep your own copies of important records; the Service is not a guaranteed backup or permanent archive. Account closure does not require us to erase records that we must or may lawfully retain.
12. Donations
Donations are voluntary and do not purchase access or features. Donations are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
13. Our intellectual property
Our software, designs, workflows, algorithms, branding, and other system components belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, disclose non-public proprietary materials, or create derivative works except as allowed by law or our written permission.
14. Third parties
We do not control third-party content or services and do not guarantee their accuracy, availability, security, or reliability. Separate third-party terms may apply when you use those services.
15. Service changes and access
We may change features or suspend or end access for misuse, security concerns, or other operational reasons. We will provide any notice or refund required by law. Terms that by their nature apply after access ends continue to apply.
16. No warranties
To the extent allowed by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee availability, security, accuracy, or any particular outcome.
17. Limits on liability
To the extent allowed by law, 3-Clicks Inc and its officers, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data. Our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the greater of $100 or the fees you paid us for the affected Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
18. Claims caused by your use
To the extent allowed by law, you agree to indemnify 3-Clicks Inc and its officers, employees, and agents against third-party claims and reasonable costs, including legal fees, caused by your unlawful use, your content infringing others' rights, or your violation of these terms. This does not cover claims caused by our own unlawful conduct.
19. Required rights and remaining terms
Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining terms still apply.
20. Governing law
Minnesota law governs these terms, without its conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
21. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will post the new terms and effective date. We will provide any notice or obtain any agreement required by law. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance where allowed by law.
