What students understand and can do.

Education is about learning

  • People develop useful knowledge, reasoning, and skills they can apply. Define the learning goals and whose opportunities should improve.
  • Connect students, teachers, curriculum, assessment, time, school resources, families, and the transitions to further study or work. Follow how feedback changes teaching and learning decisions.
  • Consider teaching capacity, preparation time, student needs, funding, access, and the delay between an intervention and durable learning. Account for requirements outside the school that affect participation.
